The company

In the early 1960s, Budenheimer was the first company to manufacture plastic casings to make the work of professionals and butchers easier. We still offer this excellent casing today, known as Sterildarm. In 1998, Dr. Oetker separated from Budenheimer, which has since become an independent company. The Budenheimer range is constantly evolving. It has been expanded to include a multi-layer casing called Steribar. Walorin smokable and breathable casings, in straight or curved shapes, have been added to the range.
